JBDS participating in Gran Fondo ToC to raise awareness of Sepsis in the UK.

JBDS are proud to be participating in the Cambridge Gran Fondo 80 Mile cycle race to raise awareness of Sepsis in the UK.

Sepsis is blood poisoning when the body attacks its own organs and tissues and it is a condition that currently affects more than 250,000 people every year in the UK.

On the 3rd June 2018, the team at JBDS consisting of Jeremy Browne, Patrick Kavanagh, Francis Heslin, Colin Holland and Barbara Kavanagh will be participating in the Cambridge Gran Fondo 80 Mile Cycle race.

The team will be racing under the banner, “Team Paula” in memory of the sudden death of Paula Noble, a dear friend of Patrick who passed away suddenly last May due to Sepsis.

They are hoping to raise £7,500 for the UK Charity, Sepsis Trust to raise awareness and funds to help save more lives from Sepsis.
