About Us
We work closely with utilities companies such as National Grid, UK Power Network and in the transport sector we work alongside Transport for London, the Highways Agency and independent agencies.
These carefully managed relationships ensure that your project is uninterrupted by the type of avoidable hold-ups that can often lead to costly project delays.
Our History
Recognising that developers throughout London and across the South East can struggle to effectively manage the preparation of brownfield sites, J Browne Developer Services (JBDS) launched its bespoke service in 2010. We are part of the J Browne utility services group – that has accumulated a wealth of experience over the past 45 years.
Since 2010 we have completed hundreds of projects, ranging from £5K to £9M.

Putting Safety First
Effectively Managing and Minimising Risk
Health and safety performance is paramount to our entire operation, always at the forefront of our projects and a key aspect of our mindset.
Daily safety briefings, weekly site audits, monthly external inspections, health and safety score cards and robust control procedures are all crucial elements of effectively managing and minimising risk.
JBDS appreciates and understands that the nature of work that we undertake on behalf of clients can be high risk. Our aim is to work collaboratively with clients and all stakeholders to continuously improve safety standards across our own, our partners’ and our clients’ businesses.
