JBDS are delighted to announce the contract award for the Low Level 1 Trunk Sewer Diversion at the R&F One Nine Elms development.
One Nine Elms is a mixed-use skyscraper scheme currently under construction in Nine Elms. The development will replace two towers on the site built in the 1970s called Market Towers and forms part of a wider redevelopment of the Nine Elms area of London.
As well as residential apartments, the scheme will include a luxury hotel. Upon completion, anticipated to be in 2019, One Nine Elms will become one of the tallest residential developments in London and the United Kingdom.
JBDS’ contract is a multi pound design and build project which commenced in October 2018 and will run for approximately 30 weeks.
JBDS Managing Director, Pat Kavanagh comments: “We have worked on the Nine Elms project on behalf of the client since 2017 for the construction of petrol interceptors and the installation of water sewer run and have managed to offer innovative and cost effective solutions to a somewhat very complex infrastructure setup on site. We look forward to exceeding R&F’s expectations once again in delivering this project critical diversion”
